Man Of Prayer

For the past few days, I felt the need to restore my prayer life as to the days when I was going through some tedious times. I have mostly approached prayer yearning for anchors amidst storms of monsoon winds and extinguishers in flames of wild fires.

But this time around, the need to pray felt different. This weekend, I woke up in the wee hours of the night with an anger to pray. I adhered and went on my knees.

After that moment, my prayer muscles were aching and I listened to a YouTube video for prayer boosters. But just like a malnourished body I missed my Sunday night prayers even after setting the Alarm.

On Monday Evening, as I opened my social media pages a friend shared with me a live YouTube Link of faith boosters a Monday weekly fellowship conducted by Pastor Beatrice Byemanzi. I skipped the link but after a few minutes I felt the need to come back to it.

It was a jaw dropping and eye opening moment. The same words as the ones I heard the night before were shared. I listened to the sermon twice and slept with a smile on my face. I fell deeply in love with prayer not as an obligation of a Christian but as a magic stick to all the supernatural possessions of heaven and earth. No wonder God wills we pray without ceasing. (1Thessaloniana 5:16)

This morning on 26th July 2022, I woke up to good news that our family has been blessed with a bouncing baby boy named Declan Mwanje through the stewardship of my brother and his wife. YeyiiiπŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½

Now because I am so big on the meaning of names I ran to google and searched for answers.

The moment I discovered that His name means Man of Prayer! Goose bumps showed up! Words failed me!!!

Welcome Baby πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

To you our dear son , you have been born for such a time as this! You are going to cause supernatural movements in places where God has placed you.

Just like your father, you will be highly favored before God and People. Whatever you do shall prosper. Goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life and you shall dwell in the house of God forever. We Love You Baby!πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
