When my heart yearned to put up a blog about my 2020 lessons, my mind begged to differ and went on to convince me how there is nothing new that just dropped in my ear. Since all things I call lessons have been coming up from the wisdom surrounding me before 2020 showed face. The bible says in Ecclesiastes 1:9 what has been will be again; what has been done will be done again. There is nothing new under the sun.

So after that was made clear to my heart, I held a meeting between my heart and mind to reach a consensus, it finally dawned on me that I was in the 2019 and the years before lesson class. But 2020 allowed me to experience the lessons in its unique dimension. I don’t want to sound like a snake-oil salesperson, but let me share some of my profound experiences, and since I cannot finish them in one blog stay tuned here for the next episode in the following posts.

IN 2020, I happened to have one of my most challenging moments when my Ugandan friend and former roommate, went to be with the lord. I was traumatised, everything was scary, I couldn’t be alone when night dawned in, as my eyes opened the salty water taps. And sleep was like an expensive meal I couldn’t afford daily.

But Amidst all that, I had friends that held me through it, friends that held my hand when I couldn’t stand on my feet. Friends that didn’t speak me into being fine but instead walked together with me into being fine.

Proverbs 18; 24, MSG. Aman, who has friends must himself be friendly, but a friend sticks closer than a brother.

As we prepare to shine in 2021, let us remember to be genuine friends to attract our destiny helpers who simplify this dazzling world’s cruelty.

Talking about friendship allow me to introduce my most excellent friend who walked with me in 2020. Drums roll! THE HOLY SPIRIT! Without further ado let me recommend Good morning Holy Spirit book to you by Benny Hinn.

One fateful day as I was assembling phones at a Samsung company I was working at, my Spirit got disturbed, and immediately I started praying. My Spirit became vocal that my time at that company was coming to an end, and God told me to look for another place of work straight away.

I went home and started reaching out to my networks for a new opportunity, and everyone was wondering why I was looking for a new job yet I had a job that allowed me to stay near school.

That weekend, my boss’s message woke me up, informing me how we couldn’t work at that company any more. And because my friend had already told me about it, I didn’t panic instead I laughed it out.

The bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things God has prepared for those who love Him. “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, and the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except for the Spirit of the man in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

Do you want to have peace that surpasses human understanding? Know of the things to come? Have the boldness to face whatever the world throws at you? And all the spiritual packages this 2021? I urge you to make the Holy Spirit, your friend.

He is waiting to begin a relationship with you that will change your life forever. Still, it is up to you to extend the invitation on a daily and acknowledge His presence, all it takes is just a word, even a whisper Holy Spirit, please lead my life, and there He is .

Enjoy Him for the rest of 2021 and the years to come.
