One fateful morning as I roamed in the corners of Sangju a city in South Korea, I happened to share the same space with a kind, and happy Korean rich man who grinned from ear to ear after meeting a black person.
We exchanged a few words, and among them was his house construction story. He spouted with pride how he successfully structured it himself only with the help of architecture literature.
Wow! We thank God who enabled you to, my mind thought out quietly. But the Gentleman went on and clued me in on how he does not believe in God but diligence, good health and happiness. And trust me He has succeeded at it.
This moment reminded me of the time the universe graced me with the opportunity to hold a Forum alongside the International Development Expert Association of Yeungnam University. AS a forum debater, I had to submit my script five days before the D-Day for reviewing and Korean language translations. Something which I did, but two days to the event, I felt the need to alter a few words. I communicated with the team, and within a short time, they had translated my script and made it available for printing.
I was quite amused at how excellent these students were, as always I threw in my line. “We thank God, who has enabled you”… and before I could finish what I had to say one beautiful lady interrupted and told me no, I trust my team, they are so good, not God.
After these encounters, my mind started racing with questions like why do I believe in God? People who don’t believe in God are securing great things. A few days later, I called up a few friends to analyse their justification of believing in God. Like me, most of them referred to God as an engine we use to achieve our dreams without much labor. I believed in God because I wanted Him to help me while on earth to excel in my career, get a good job and live a long life without me putting in much work. And after I grasp that, I will be among the lucky ones to make it to heaven. Ha-ha.
Every time I prayed, I firstly thanked him for delivering some of the packages I want and reminded Him of how I am excited to receive the box still in transit.
Crossing paths with people who have achieved all that without believing in God outstripped my faith.
WHY THIS BLOG
What I now know for sure, there is more to Christianity than what meets the Eye the bible says in Proverbs 10: 14 He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes one rich, in other words, God did not spare wealth for only those who believe in him, but for all who are diligent. After all, He makes His sun rise on the evil and sends rain on the just and unjust. Mathew 5; 45.
Like me, if you have been holding onto this rope of salvation only for your plans to be fulfilled, you are missing out on the real melody of a believer.
1 Corinthians 2:9 Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love him, But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things yes, the deep things of God.
Instead of searching God for small things like a new house, car and all the other things which we already have authority over whether we are believers or not. Let us surrender our lives to seek and draw from the kingdom secrets.
God`s will is far better and more superior than any plans or dreams you will ever have in your life. Beatrice Byemanzi.

Ohh Thank you so much my love. Like I said “Like me, if you have been holding onto this rope of salvation only for your plans to be fulfilled, you are missing out on the real melody of a believer.” Point of the blog we shouldn’t only call on God for our plans to be executed because the road to that is diligence but rather follow His plan and tap from what He has reserved for those who love Him. “There’s more”.

“But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”
II Corinthians 9:6-8 NKJV. I felt the need to share with you this scripture.
