Intelligent  people are always ready to learn.Their ears are open for knowledge😊

When i joined university pursuing a Bachelors of science in accounting and finance, i thought i knew it all since i performed quite well in high school scoring 20points. I got a distinction “A” in Economics 😎.”I’m a sharp girl”,i thought to myself, but of course am sharp.🙄😜

Among my course units at university  was Economics theory. Here Iam in my first economics theory class on a Saturday morning studying simpler techniques “i thought”,  comparing them to the  techniques at college which had a wide coverage  and all.”Why are you wasting your time Viv in addition to sacrificing your sleep when you scored an A in Economics”. I whispered to my innocent soul!!!

That was the beginning  of my missing the so many economics lectures. Little did i know that the little knowledge I had acquired at high school was not sufficient enough to take me through university. To cut the story short i got a retake in my final economics exam.😰

Food for thought; In most life situations, we may think we know it all and ignore the wisdom that comes our way on a daily basis. But we gotta hit the pause button and be open to learn that there is always room  for new knowledge even in the areas we think we good at..so in whatever we do, we should aspire to seek new knowledge. let our ears always be open.
